Environmental Policy
JCP fully recognises that in pursuing its activities, it has a responsibility to the environment. It will aim to promote the use of sustainable resources and discourage wasteful or damaging practices both within its own organization and through influencing the activities of its clients.
Implementation within JCP
Within its own organisation JCP Consultancy aims to reduce the environmental effects of its activities to a practicable minimum through the minimisation of pollution, the minimisation of waste, the use of renewable resources and the efficient use of energy. Our aim is to continue and expand initiatives already started for example working towards a paperless office, encouraging working from home and the use of telephone conference calling to cut down on unnecessary travel
Working with our clients
JCP will support its clients in achieving its aims in respect of achieving sustainable development by its emphasis on driving out waste through collaborative working so as to ensure that performance is improved, benefits are achieved and the environment and communities are enhanced. JCP will encourage its clients to involve and recognise the needs of everyone in the process of seeking improvements.
Training
New and existing consultants are made aware of the environmental policy of JCP through the internal training sessions with the emphasis being on the need to achieve improvements in the bottom line and enhancing the environment and communities.
Responsibility
The responsibility for implementation of this policy lies with David Curtis who is a Director of the JCP Board.
