Diarmid de Burgh-Milne

Diarmid is a lead development strategist for leadership, organisational, and behavioral development of alliances, playing a key role in guiding and inspiring at all levels. He has n ine years of experience in strategic development of partnering and alliancing across a wide variety of international industry sectors, private and public, building on a successful career as a senior officer in the British Army. Diarmid has led the successful Welsh Water AMP3 and AMP4 supply chain partnering/alliancing programs in Wales, U.K. He possesses a deep understanding of organisational effectiveness and the role that interpersonal relationships play in delivering commercial success. He has a successful track record of facilitation and mentoring at the Board level in blue-chip companies and is a leader in Partnering for the Rail Industry, including the Kent Rail Partnership, Thameslink 2000, Great Western, High Output Track Renewals and Angel Trains. Diarmid’s leadership the British Energy/BNFL (British Nuclear Fuels) Partnership program created major value add for both Companies. He also led the British Energy procurement culture change and partnering development program and has facilitated the partnering programs at Shell, construction projects for J Sainsbury’s, Kier, Gleeson, Wilmott Dixon and partnering and negotiation for Firmenich (Perfumery, Flavors and Chemical), number one globally in perfumery .

Diarmid holds a BA (Hons) in French and Philosophy from Leeds University, is a Behavioral Analyst, a Civil Service Qualified Interpreter in French and Italian and Staff College British Army (Camberley) as well as Staff College Italian Army.
