The partnering journey starts with each business ensuring it is internally aligned before trying to build relationship with external businesses and other partners. The Journey is about the changes and transformations that must be undergone in order for a Business to move from the traditionally adversarial and coercive relationship to that of genuine collaboration. It considers the values and broad behaviours needed to implement effective change and gain improved results. It looks at the reality of delegates’ working environment and relationships and includes a chunk of real work (action planning). It is effective at the individual, team and organisational or cross-organisational levels. It has been used from the Strategic level down to site level.
